Position Overview
The Sport Lecturer will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs related to various sports, including but not limited to: team sports, individual sports, fitness, and recreational activities. This role involves not only teaching but also mentoring and encouraging participants of all ages to engage in sports and physical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and curricula focused on sports education.
- Conduct engaging and interactive classes and workshops.
- Mentor and guide students in their athletic pursuits.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and coordinate community sporting events and competitions.
- Collaborate with local schools and universities to promote sports education.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in sports education.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching in a sports environment.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset.
