Position Overview

The part-time Social Work Assistant will support our team in delivering social services and community support programs. You will work closely with our social workers and community partners to enhance the lives of individuals and families in need. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in the implementation of social work initiatives and programs for vulnerable populations.

  • Coordinate with community resources and service providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Social Work, Social Services, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in social services, community outreach, or related fields is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and understanding towards clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with community resources and support services within Toronto.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools for documentation and reporting.

Work Schedule

This part-time role requires flexibility, with approximately 20-25 hours per week. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts may be available based on program needs and client schedules. Our goal is to provide a work-life balance while you make an impact in the community.
