Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Living Community Manager to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will oversee the daily operations of our senior living facility, ensuring the highest levels of care, comfort, and satisfaction for our residents. You will collaborate with various departments to create a thriving community atmosphere and implement programs that enhance the quality of life for our seniors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the senior living community, ensuring compliance with all local and provincial regulations.
  • Oversee care staff and volunteers while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement resident programs that promote physical, mental, and social activities.
  • Establish positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to build a sense of community.
  • Conduct regular assessments and meetings with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a budget, manage financial resources, and ensure that operational costs align with the community’s financial goals.
  • Market the community’s offerings and services to potential residents and their families.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise within the community promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living jobs, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of senior care regulations and best practices in the industry.
  • Proven leadership abilities and capacity to manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage at multiple levels.
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
