Position Overview
As a Remote Tech Support Specialist at Firemen Movers, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch technical support to our staff and clients. You will utilize your expertise to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support to Firemen Movers employees and customers.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including but not limited to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and mobile devices.
- Document and maintain records of support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on software applications and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes and implement new technologies.
- Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and advancements in the moving industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Proficient with Windows and Mac OS, as well as common software like Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Zoom).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
