Position Overview
We are currently seeking motivated individuals for the Warehouse Operative Job in Liverpool. This role is vital for ensuring that our distribution operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing products in our warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack items in preparation for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position based in Liverpool, with standard hours of work being Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Occasionally, overtime may be required to meet operational demands.
