Position Summary
The HSE Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety and environmental training programs aimed at reducing risks and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with all departments to ensure a safe working environment for our employees, customers, and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive health, safety, and environmental training programs tailored to the needs of Superior Towing employees.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on relevant HSE topics, including workplace safety, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt training materials and methods based on feedback and changing regulations.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and ensure all employees complete necessary safety training.
- Monitor compliance with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations, and help prepare documentation for safety audits and inspections.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the towing or transportation industry.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., CRSP, NEBOSH, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Experience with training development and delivery, using various formats (in-person, online, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective strategies for improvement.
