Position: GE Machine Operator
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated GE Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating and maintaining GE machinery to ensure optimal performance and high product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Operate GE machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Perform setup and adjustments to machines as required for production runs.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Document production data, including machine hours, downtime, and quality metrics.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.
- Train and mentor new employees on machine operations and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operations is an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating industrial machinery, preferably GE machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
