Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and effective management of all logistics processes.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to enhance tracking and accountability.
- Monitor the performance metrics of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and enforce procedures for the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods.
- Create effective strategies for reducing waste and improving warehouse efficiency.
- Coordinate with various departments including sales and logistics to maintain consistency across operations.
- Train, mentor, and manage a remote team of warehouse associates.
- Evaluate and manage warehousing budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
- Utilize data analytics to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a remote capacity.
- Proven expertise in inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of supply chain regulations and policies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in remote team management and collaboration.
Working Conditions
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. We believe in a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible schedules. However, the incumbent must be available during core business hours (Eastern Time). JBK Warehousing provides all necessary tools and technology, including remote access to our inventory management software and communication platforms to ensure seamless collaboration.
