Position Overview
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision and functionality of our GNSS devices. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be integral to our production team and support Borealis Precision’s dedication to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration on various GNSS equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and specifications.
- Monitor and document performance results, maintaining a detailed log of all calibrations performed.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement improved calibration techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the calibration lab.
- Stay current with technological advancements and calibrations by attending training sessions and workshops.
Work Hours
This position offers dedicated morning jobs Monday to Friday, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons and weekends while being a critical contributor in our vibrant team environment. Morning shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in electronics or engineering preferred.
- Experience in calibration or a related technical field is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using measurement equipment and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
